ALI, MUHAMMAD VINTAGE SIGNED PHOTO (1974)

Muhammad Ali was born on January 17, 1942 in Louisville, Kentucky. He won the World Heavyweight Title from Sonny Liston on February 25, 1964. He announced his retirement in February of 1970 but was back in the ring later that October. He won the NABF Heavyweight Title On July 26, 1971 in a bout with Jimmy Ellis. He regained the World Heavyweight Title when he fought George Foreman in Zaire on October 30, 1974. He lost and regained the heavyweight title in 1978 against Leon Spinks.He retired after losing to Trevor Berbick on December 11, 1981 with a final record of 56-5 with 37 KO's. Offered here is an original photograph which has been signed by Muhammad Ali and dated 1974, the year he won the heavyweight title for the second time with a stunning victory over George Foreman.
This is an original, black & white, 8" x 10" photograph of Ali in full fight pose. Boldly signed in blue ink and dated "74" in lower right corner. Bold, clear image. Clean front and back. Not creased or torn. From the collection of Ali assistant trainer Wali Muhammad and is signed by him on the reverse. Very scarce vintage signed photo from 1974.
