ARMSTRONG, HENRY-BARNEY ROSS WIRE PHOTO (1938-PRE FIGHT MEDICAL)

On May 31,1938 at the Madison Square Garden Bowl in Long Island City, New York Henry Armstrong met Barney Ross for the Welterweight Title. Armstrong would take the title from Ross by a 15 round unanimous decision. Armstrong would hold the World Featherweight, Lightweight and Welterweight Titles simultaneously.
