HISTORY: On April 22, 1978 at the Spectrum in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania Bob Backlund defended his world heavyweight wrestling title against Spiros Arion with Gorilla Monsoon as the referee. Backlund prevailed defeating Arion. Also on the show Superstar Billy Graham defeated Dusty Rhodes and in a tag team contest Dino Bravo and Dominic DeNucci defeated The Golden Terror and Butcher Vachon.
