On January 2, 1954 at the Palais des Sports in Paris, France interim featherweight champion Percy Bassett fought Jacques Herbillon in the main event. Bassett made short work of it stopping Herbillon in the second round. Offered here is an original wire photo showing Herbillon down for the third time in the first round.
