HISTORY: Riddick Bowe was born on August 10, 1967 in Brooklyn, N.Y. He won the World Heavyweight Title on November 13, 1992 from Evander Holyfield, winning by decision. He announced his retirement on April 20, 1997. Presented here is an original, first generation photograph of Riddick Bowe in action against Evererett "Big Foot" Martin on May 8, 1992 which Bowe won by TKo in round 5. On December 7, 1992 Bowe signed this photo at the Plaza Hotel in New York as noted on the reverse.
