HISTORY: Andy Bowen was a professional lightweight boxer. Born on May 3, 1867 in New Orleans. Began his professional career on January 16, 1887 and ended on December 14, 1894 with a record of 15-4-5. In his career he fought notables in his division including: Stanton Abbott, George "Kid" Lavigne, Billy Myer and Jack Everhardt. Bowen died on December 15, 1894 at the age of 27. Offered here is a rare, original boudoir cabinet card of Andy Bowen.
