Jim Braddock fought Max Baer on June 13, 1935 at the Madison Sqare Garden Bowl in Long Island City. Braddock won by decision after 15 rounds to win the Heavyweight Title. Presented here is the complete and original Atlanta Journal from 6/14/35 after Braddock won. It is from the Georgia State Library and pictures Braddock and his wife on the cover.
