On January 21, 1938 at Madison Square Garden in New York heavyweights Jimmy Braddock and Tommy Farr squared off in an important match. Braddock would win a close split ten round decision. It would be his last fight as a professional. Presented here is a very rare fight film poster advertising the showing of the film of the fight.
This beautiful fight film poster pictures both fighters. It is paper which has been professionally linen backed and measures 26" x 41" (one sheet). The poster is clean with bold color and virtually no fading. Remnants of the original folds are still present. A light spot stain on the right side about the size of a dime. Extremely rare, the only example we have seen.
