On April 16, 1934 at the Palais des Sports in Paris, France bantamweights Panama Al Brown and Kid Francis battled in the main event. Around this time the NBA stripped Brown of the bantamweight title for not honoring a contract to fight Rodolfo (Baby) Casanova. Brown prevailed in this match winning a ten round decision over Francis. Offered here is a scarce, original wire photo depicting the two fighters battling in the ring during the fight.
