CARTER, RUBIN "HURRICANE" & HARRY SCOTT SIGNED PHOTO

HISTORY: On April 20, 1965 at Royal Albert Hall in London middleweights Rubin "Hurrican" Carter and Harry Scott squared off in the main event. Carter's career was starting to slip after his loss to Joey Giardello 4 months earlier for the middleweight title and that trend continued here as Scott scored the upset winning a ten round decision. Scott was knocked down for a five count in the 1st round, but arose to get the win. Offered here is a photo of the fighters shaking hands in fight attire which has been signed by both.
