CLAY, CASSIUS-SONNY LISTON I SEATING PLAN POSTER (1964)

On February 25, 1964 Cassius Clay fought Sonny Liston for the World Heavyweight Title. Clay won the title from Liston after Liston retired in the 7th round citing an injured shoulder. After this fight Clay changed his name to Muhammad X and then Muhammad Ali. It was the Ring Magazine 1964 Fight of the Year. Offered here is an original, seating plan poster for this fight at the Miami Beach Convention Center.
This is an original, paper, seating plan which names the venue, and fighters/ Bold color and print. Includes original folds. No tears. Clean with no staining. Slight foxing of paper from aging. 21 1/2" x 24." Rare, the only example we have seen.
