Cassius Clay won the Olympic Gold Medal in boxing at the 1960 Rome Summer Olympics. He defeated Sonny Liston on February 25, 1964 to win the World Heavyweight Title. He would become the first man to win that title three times. Changed his name to Muhammad Ali after defeating Liston. Presented here is a March 22, 1963 issue of Time Magazine picturing Cassius Clay on the cover.
This March 22, 1963 issue of Time Magazine is 8 1/4" x 11 1/4" and pictures Cassius Clay on the cover. Clean inside and there is some light soiling on the back cover. There is some wear along the edges of the cover and there are small creases along the binding and in the corners. There is a mailing label in the lower left side. No rips or tears. 108 pages.
