HISTORY: Billy Conn was born on October 8, 1917 in East Liberty, Pennsylvania. He won the World Light Heavyweight Title in a bout with Melio Bettina on July 13, 1939. He fought Joe Louis twice for the World Heavyweight Title but was not victorious. He retired after fight Joe Louis in an exhibition match on December 10, 1948 with a final record of 63-12-1 with 14 KO's. Presented here are a pair of fight trunks of Billy Conn which he has dual signed. Came from the collection of Duke Hott who obtained the trunks from Billy Conn and had him sign them. Fight these were worn in is unknown.

FULL DESCRIPTION: These are a pair of white cloth with red trim boxing trunks. Heavily soiled. Signed twice in black marker, "Billy Conn," and "Best Wishes From Billy Conn." Intact with no tears. Approximate size large. Professionally framed with some wear to the frame edges.
