HISTORY: Davey Day was born on August 12, 1912 in Chicago, Illinois. He fought as a lightweight during the 1930's. During his career he fought Henry Armstrong, Bob Montgomery and Sammy Angott among others. Presented here is a signed photo of Davey Day.
FULL DESCRIPTION: Davey Day has boldly signed this 5" x 8" photo in blue ink. He has inscribed it, "To My Friend George White Wishing you lots of susccess Sincerely Davey Day 2/27/37." The corners are slightly soft and there is some light soiling on the photo. Clean signature with no rips or tears.
