DEMPSEY, JACK EXHIBITION TICKET (1931)

On September 7, 1931 at Race Track Stadium in Reno, Nevada Jack Dempsey boxed a 4 round exhibition. This was part of a series of exhibition bouts Dempsey participated in at this time as he was contemplating a comeback to challenge for the heavyweight title. Offered here is an exceptionally rare ticket for this exhibition event.
This is an original ticket which names Jack Dempsey and which includes a section, row and seat number. Bold color and print. Has pencil notations on the back, otherwise clean. Has a number of creases. Edge and corner wear. 2 1/4" x 4 1/4."
