HISTORY: On September 23, 1926 at Sesquicentennial Stadium in Philadelphia in front of a crowd of 120,557 Jack Dempsey defended his heavyweight tile against Gene Tunney. Tunney, the better boxer, avoided the powerful blows of Dempsey and won a unanimous ten round decision and the title. Offered here is a very rare real photo postcard issued for this fight.

FULL DESCRIPTION: This is an original, real photo postcard which pictures both fighters and advertises the fight. Unused. Bold color an dprint. Bold, clear images. Not creased, but has a compression at upper left corner. Small closed tear on right edge with no paper loss. Mild soiling on back. 3 3/8" x 5 3/8." Rare, the first we have offered.
