Jack Dempsey fought Gene Tunney for the second time on September 22, 1927 at Soldier Field in Chicago. Tunney won by decision after 10 rounds. The fight is remembered as the famous "Long Count" fight which resulted when Dempsey knocked Tunney down, but failed to get to a neutral corner allowing Tunney extra time to recover. Offered here is a rare souvenir program for this fight.
This is an original, 4 page (excluding covers) souvenir program which includes photos and profiles of the fighters. It is a foldout style program which has been professionally framed. Hole at lower border of inside page. Photos and text are bold. Minor soiling. 6" x 10." Very seldom seen.
