Jack Dempsey fought Luis Firpo on September 14, 1923 in defense of his World Heavyweight Title. Dempsey knocked Firpo out in the 2nd round, in one of the most exciting and historic fights in boxing history. Presented here is an original antique wirephoto from this fight.
This original antique wirephoto from the Dempsey-Firpo bout is 8" x 10." The corners are slightly soft and there is a small crease along the left edge. Clean image with no rips or tears.
