On June 17, 1963 at the Civic Center in Baltimore world junior middleweight champion Ralph Dupas defended his title against the man he won it from two months earlier, Denny Moyer. Dupas won the first fight by split decision, but in this fight his margin of victory was more convincing and he won a unanimous decison in 15 rounds.
