HISTORY: On August 4, 1965 at Madison Square Garden in New York junior lightweight champion Flash Elorde fought Frankie Narvaez in the main event. Elorde won a controversial ten round decision. The decision caused a major riot with thrown chair and fire extinguisher axes. The rioting later spread to the streets as fans threw bricks from a demolished building across the street.
