HISTORY: On October 4, 1963 at the Arena in Boston, Massachusetts middleweights Florentino Fernandez and Joe DeNucci met in the featured bout. Fernandez knocked DeNucci out in the 4th round. The Cuban knocked Denucci out with a terrific left hook to the head. DeNucci was counted out as he posed almost completely motionless in a strange "all fours" position, supported on his knees and elbows. Offered here is an original wire photo depicting the two fighters squaring off before the fight.
