HISTORY: On May 13, 1927 at the Ramona Athletic Park in Grand Rapids, Michigan former world middleweight champion Tiger Flowers fought tough Chuck Wiggins in the main event. Flowers prevailed winning a close ten round decision. "Flowers earning a shade by a strong finish." (AP). Offered here is an exceedingly rare, original, official program for this event.
FULL DESCRIPTION: This is an original, 4 page, official program which lists the fight on the show. The original owner has checked Flowers name as the victor in pencil. Tight binding. One small spot on back otherwise clean inside and out. Minor toning from aging. Not creased or torn. Minor edge wear. 4 5/8" x 7 1/2." Exceedingly rare, as are all Tiger Flowers programs, the first we have offered.
