On June 27, 1947 at Madison Square Garden in New York light heavyweights Billy Fox and Artie Levine squared off in the main event. Fox stopped Levine in the 3rd round. In the following year Fox would be involved in a controversial fight with Jake LaMotta in which most observers believe LaMotta threw the fight. Offered here is an original, official program for the Fox-Levine fight.
