The S. Rae Hickok Professional Athlete of the Year award, known as the Hickok Belt, was a trophy awarded for 27 years to the top professional athlete of the year in the United States. It was created in honor of Stephen Rae Hickok, the founder of the Hickok Manufacturing Company of Rochester, New York, which made belts, hence the choice of a belt as a trophy. Offered here is an original souvenir tie clip issued by the Hickok Company. Dates to the 1950's.
This is a gold colored, base metal tie clip which carries the name and symbol of the Hickok belt. Shows slight wear. Completely intact. Clean. 2 inches long.
