This is an original wire photograph dated August 3, 1972 at West Point, New York picturing six fighters hoping to land on the 1972 United States Olympic Team. Those pictured include Duane Bobick, Jesse Valdez, Tim Dement, Clarence James, Louis Salughter and future world heavyweight champion Larry Holmes. Bobick made the team, but Holmes did not.
