HISTORY: On September 21, 1985 undefeated World Heavyweight Champion Larry Holmes defended his title against undefeated Michael Spinks, the World Light Heavyweight Champion. Spinks awkward style gave the aging Holmes problems and eventually led to Spinks winning a 15 round controversial decision and the title. On the undercard super featherweight champion Julio Cesar Chavez defended his title winning a 12 round unanimous decision over Dwight Pratchett.
