HOLMES, LARRY-MICHAEL SPINKS I SOUVENIR SEAT CUSHION (1985)

On September 21, 1985 World Heavyweight Champion Larry Holmes defended his title against undefeated Michael Spinks, the World Light Heavyweight Champion. Spinks awkward style gave the aging Holmes problems and eventually led to Spinks winning a 15 round controversial decision and the title. Presented here is a scarce souvenir seat cushion from the fight.
This seat cushion was a souvenir gift to people seating at preferred ringside locations. The gold leather seat cushion names and pictures both fighters and includes advertising for the entire fight card. In excellent condition with no rips, tears or soiling. The images and print remain bold with virtually no fading. Approximately 15" x 15."
