HOLMES. LARRY-MICHAEL SPINKS II DIECUT ON SITE POSTER (1986)

On April 19, 1986 World Heavyweight Champion Michael Spinks defended his title against former champion Larry Holmes at the Las Vegas Hilton in Las Vegas, Nevada. Holmes had lost his title in a close decision to Spinks seven months earlier setting up this rematch. Most observers thought Holmes had won this fight, but Spinks was awarded the decision and retained his title. Presented here is a rare, original, on site diecut poster for this event.
This is an original cardboard, on site, diecut poster which names the fighters, date and venue. Bold color and print. Bold, clear image. Smal creases in bottom corners. Minor edge wear. Clean with glue marks on back from mounting. Rare, the first we have offered. Irregularly shaped to 9" x 26."
