Joe Humphries was the master of ceremonies at sporting events around the New York area from the 1890s through the 1930s. Humphries's booming voice was familiar to crowds who attended boxing matches, ballgames, and races at Madison Square Garden during that era.Presented here is a signed postcard of Humphries to friend Mickey Walker.
This postcard measures 3 1/2 inches by 5 1/ 2 inches.The postcard shows just very minor edge and a small crease in the lower left corner.The back has writing in pencil.The image is clean.The signature is in green marker has has a small smudge near the end of Humphries name.
