HISTORY: On April 6, 2014 at the Ota-City General Gymnasium, Tokyo, Japan WBC Light Flyweight champion Adrian Hernandez of Mexico defended his title against the great Naoya Inoue of Japan. Inoue won the title stopping Hernandez in the 6th round. Naoya Inoue wins WBC world flyweight title in his sixth professional bout by sixth round TKO in Japan, fewest fights to win this WBC title ever. Mexico's Adrian Hernandez, the reigning WBC Light Flyweight World champion, had fought in nine WBC world title bouts in three years.
