One round Hogan was a 1927 silent film. Monte Blue, one of Warner Bros.' most dependable silent film stars, plays the title role in One-Round Hogan. The son of a champion boxer (played by real-life champ James J. Jeffries), Hogan has a lot of trouble living up to his father's reputation. Through pluck and luck, Our Hero wins the climactic Big Match, and the love and devotion of leading lady Leila Hyams in the bargain. Offered here is an original 1927 lobby card for the movie which pictures James J. Jeffries.
