On October 22, 1958 at the Lafayette Hotel in Long Beach, California welterweights Don Jordan and Gaspar Ortega fought in a world title eliminator main event. In a very close fight Jordan prevailed winning a 12 round split decision. Offered here is an original, on site poster for this event.
