HISTORY: Don King was the first major black promoter who had controlled heavyweight title off and on since 1978. His first big promotion was Muhammad Ali's fight against George Foreman in 1974. He is a former numbers operator who served 4 years for manslaughter (1967-70), and was acquitted of tax evasion and fraud in 1985. He also promoted Larry Holmes, Mike Tyson, Evander Holyfield, Roberto Duran and Julio Cesar Chavez among others. He has been accused of bilking his fighters out of money. King is famous for his gravity-defying hairstyle and his catchphrase "Only in America!." A member of the International Boxing Hall Of Fame. Offered here is an original vintage pin of Don King.
