On February 9, 1951 at Madison Square Garden in New York rising heavyweight star Rex Layne headlined a boxing show against Cesar Brion. Layne won a tough, close ten round split decision over Brion. On The undercard future world light heavyweight champion Harold Johnson won an 8 round decision over Chuck Hunter. Offered here is a scarce, original, official program for this event.
