HISTORY: Benny Leonard was born on April 7, 1896 in New York City, New York. He won the World Lightweight Title on May 28, 1917 from Freddie Welsh. He retired for good after losing to Jimmy McLarnin on October 7, 1932 with a final record of 180-21-6 with 6 no decisions and 69 KO's. Offered here are original exercise cards from the Benny Leonard boxing course which includes the original card holder.

FULL DESCRIPTION: These are 5 original exercise cards picturing Benny Leonard in various poses, all from his boxing course. All 5 are kept in the original simulated leather holder which includes the embossed signature "from Benny Leonard" on the cover. Each card is 3 1/4" x 4 7/8" and are in wonderful condition with bold, clear images, no creases or tears and clean. Blank backs. The holder is a 6 page fold out style including covers. Only very minor edge wear. 3 3/8" x 5." Exceedingly rare, the first time we have offered the card holder.
