Sugar Ray Leonard and Thomas "Hitman" Hearns were two fighters linked to the great champions of the late 1970's and 1980's. The pair met in a historic fight in 1981 to unify the welterweight title. Leonard had to rally late and stop Hearns in the 14th round to win the bout. They met again in 1989with the super middleweight title at stake. Hearns put Leonard down twice in the fight, but the fight was declared a controversial draw after 12 rounds. Offered here is an original boxing glove which has been signed by both Sugar Ray Leonard and Thomas Hearns. Authenticated by PSA/DNA.
This is a regulation size, red leather, left hand boxing glove with a manufacturer's label for Everlast at the wrist. Boldly signed in black sharpie across the backhand, "Sugar Ray Leonard Thomas Hitman Hearns." Clean front and back. No tears. 12 inches long. Authenticated by PSA/DNA with their sticker affixed to the glove and their separate cert.
