HISTORY: On September 13, 1977 at the Olympic Auditorium in Los Angeles a star studded boxing show was held. Carlos Palomino defended his world welterweight title winning a 15 round decision over Everaldo Azevedo. Future champion Michael Spinks knocked out Ray Elson in the first round. Danny "Little Red" Lopez defended his world featherweight title stopping Jose Torres in the 7th round. "Big" John Tate, future champion, won a majority 6 round decision over Eddie Lopez.
