HISTORY: On March 27, 1942 at Madison Square Garden in New York heavyweight champion Joe Louis defended hsi title for the second time against Abe Simon. In their first meeting a year earlier Louis stopped Simon in the 13th round. In this fight Louis made shorter work of it stopping Simon in the 6th round when referee Eddie Joseph waved off the action. Simon was down at the bell in both the second and fifth rounds. Offered here is a rare, original, full, unused ticket for this event. Authenticated by PSA/DNA and graded Good 2.
FULL DESCRIPTION: This is an original, full, unused ticket which names the fighters and includes a section, row and seat number. Bold color and print. Not torn.
