HISTORY: Joe Louis defended his heavyweight title for the second time against tough Aturo Godoy on June 20, 1940 at Yankee Stadium in New York. In their first meeting Louis prevailed by 15 round decision. In the second fight Louis eliminated all doubters stopping Godoy in round 8. Presented here is a signed album page with signatures of both along with a nice photo of both. Also included is a letter from the previous owner stating how the signature were obtained. Obtained by a Pan American employee in 1947 who has supplied a type written and signed letter dated in 1999.
