Ray (Boom Boom) Mancini was born on March 4, 1961 in Youngstown, Ohio. He won the NABF Lightweight Title on May 16, 1981 from Jorge Morales. On May 8, 1982 he won the WBA Lightweight Title from Arturio Frias. He retired after losing to Livingstone Bramble on February 16, 1985. Mancini's final record was 29-3. Presented here is a souvenir training camp pin from his rematch with Livingstone Bramble which Bramble won in 15 rounds.
This is a souvenir pin from Mancini's training camp for the rematch with Livingtone Brambe on February 16, 1985. "The Reno Rematch Ray 'Boom Boom' Mancini Training Camp Eldorado Hotel-Casino," is written on the front. The pin is perfectly intact and has some minor soiling.
