MARCIANO, ROCKY-EZZARD CHARLES I OFFICIAL PROGRAM (1954)

On June 17, 1954 Heavyweight Champion Rocky Marciano defended his title against Ezzard Charles at Yankee Stadium in New York. It was Marciano's third defense of the title he took from Jersey Joe Walcott a little over two years earlier and it proved to be a tough one. Charles fought and highly competitive fight, but lost a 15 round decision to the champion. Presented here is the official program to that event.
This is an official program for Marciano-Charles I fought on June 17, 1954. It consists of 32 pages. The center scorecard is unscored. Clean interior. Nice tight binding. No center crease. Some light surface wear to covers and some minor staining on rear cover. 9" x 12".
