HISTORY: On September 21, 1955 Rocky Marciano defended his Heavyweight Title for the last time defeating Archie Moore in Yankee Stadium. It brought his record to 49-0, a mark challenged but to this day never eclipsed. Moore didn't go easily. He knocked down the champ early, but was himself stopped in the 9th round after being worn down by the relentless attack of Marciano. Marciano retired after this fight.
