MCGUIGAn, BARRY-VERNON PENPPRASE OFFICIAL PROGRAM (1983)

On April 12, 1983 at Ulster Hall in Belfast, Northern Ireland Barry McGuigan and Vernon Penprase fought for the vacant British Featherweight Title. McGuigan dominated and stopped Penprase in the 2nd round to win the title. Penprase was floored twice in 2nd round by McGuigan who took the crown vacated by Steve Simms. On the undercard the father of "Irish" John Duddy, Micky Duddy was stopped by Michael Harris. Offered here is an original, official program for this event.
