MILLS, FREDDIE SIGNED PHOTO

Freddie Mills began his professional boxing career on March 25, 1936. He won the British and Empire Light Heavyweight Titles on June 20, 1942 stopping Len Harvey in two rounds. He won the World Light Heavyweight Title on July 26, 1948 winning a 15 round decision over then champion Gus Lesnevich. Presented here is a vintage signed photograph of Freddie Mills.
This is a promotional photograph which has been boldly inscribed and signed, "Best O Luck Freddie Mills Lt Heavyweight Champion of the British Empire. Pre 1948 signature and inscription. The photo is in fine condition with some soft corners being the only noticeable flaw. 3 1/4" x 5 1/4".
