HISTORY: On June 22, 1955 Archie Moore fought Carl "Bobo" Olson at the Polo Grounds in New York. At stake was the World Light Heavyweight Title which Moore had won from Harold Johnson ten months earlier. Olson was the World Middleweight Champion having won that title in 1953. Moving up in weight to challenge the crafty Moore was a mistake. Olson was knocked out in 3 rounds.

FULL DESCRIPTION: This is a souvenir advertising program for that event which has been signed by Archie Moore. Pictures both fighters. A fan shaped cardboard program with floral display on back. Boldly signed in ink, "To John from Arch Moore 93." One small bend on right edge. Slight toning from age. Clean. Hole near bottom provided to hold the fan. Lists all fights on show. Irregularly shaped to 10" x 10 3/4."
