HISTORY: Carlos Ortiz was born on September 9, 1936 in Ponce, Puerto Rico. He won the World Lightweight Title on April 21, 1962 from Joe Brown. He eventually lost the title to Carlos Teo Cruz on June 29, 1968. He retired after losing to Ken Buchanan on September 20, 1972 with a final record of 61-7-1 with 1 no contest and 30 KO's. Offered here is a commemorative International Boxing Hall Of Fame paperweight which has been signed by Carlos Ortiz.
