PACHO, BOBBY-PETE MASCIA ON SITE POSTER (1936)

On December 14, 1936 at the St. Nicholoas Arena in New York welterweights Bobby Pacho and Pete Mascia headlined the boxing show. Pacho stopped Mascia in the 6th round. The poster advertised the winner would meet Tony Canzoneri (who is pictured), but that did not occur. Offered here is an original, on site poster for this event.
This is an original, cardboard, on site poster which pictures Tony Canzoneri. Bold color and print. Bold, clear image. No staining. Mild edge and corner wear. Multiple creases which do not detract. 22 1/2" x 28." Rare, the only example we have seen.
