HISTORY: On May 1, 1959 Heavyweight Champion Floyd Patterson defended his title against British contender Brian London at the Coliseum on the State Fairgrounds in Indianapolis, Indiana. This was Patterson's fourth title defense and it was successful. He stopped London in the eleventh round.
