HISTORY: On November 23, 1971 at Multnomah County Expo Center, Portland, Oregon former world heavyweight champion Floyd Patterson fought Charlie Harris in the featured bout. Patterson knocked Harris out in the 6th round.
Patterson knocked Harris down for an eight-count in the 4th round, sending him through the ropes with a left hook and right hand to the chin. Patterson knocked Harris down in the 6th round, again through the ropes. Arising, Harris was met by another salvo from Patterson, who stretched him for the ten-count. Source: Portland Oregonian
