HISTORY: On March 24, 1952 at Madison Square Garden in New York the Inter-City Golden Gloves tournament was held between New and Chicago. Future world heavyweight champion Floyd Patterson, fighting for New York, scored a victory over Eddie Jones in the light heavyweight division.
